The Ice Empire
Today it was snowing all day in Karlsruhe, so I decided to post photos of my best winter excursion in the white forests between Baiersbronn and Kneibis from last year. That was incredible to see those white trees with the clear blue sky. I will never forget that real Ice Empire where even the trunks of the trees were covered with rime-frost. I hope you like the collection, that you can enjoy in a warm, cozy room.

I love how the world is through your lens! These photos are gorgeous - so strong, yet so delicate. For example, 'Columns.' Beautiful, yes... but the forest also looks so intimidating! The trees seem like a gang of guards or soldiers who would refuse to let anyone or anything pass through. And 'Cauliflower' (hah!) is such a magnificent photo. Looks like a painting, like something conjured out of the imagination!
