♫ We should go to Debrecen to eat some turkey ♫
Last week I visited Debrecen, the second largest city of Hungary. The main attraction is the Great Church, as Debrecen is known as Calvinist Rome. You can find here a very famous University and there are pretty streets and buildings from the 19. century. The most famous Hotel was called Arany Bika (Golden Bull), but it is a pity that today this is just an empty house. The title of this post came from a Hungarian folksong, because Debrecen was famous from its agriculture and turkey culture.![]() |
