Castle Chenonceau, the pearl of Cher
The Loire Valley has several beautiful castles, but my favorite was the Château Chenonceau. It has such charme and beauty, as it is on the river Cher with pretty gardens. It is called the castel of women, because during the centuries it was owned by outstanding ladies, maybe that is why I love it so much. Walking in the rooms you can find amazing fireplaces, paintings about the owners, huge beds with balanchin and wooden painted ceilings. Enjoy the photos!
