In my last post about our Corsican trip from September I decided to show you the photos, which I took in some small villages. They have a strange atmosphere as they seemed to be really poor and old. Pictures from Speloncato, Lama and Cervione with Leica M9.

In this post I collected the rocky landscapes of Corsica.
The first one is the so called Les Calanches next to Porto. Huge rocky mountains are rising from the sea and making different forms: see the heart shaped one! Not just this part of the island is interesting but the road that you should take, what is called Scala di Santa Regina. Imagine a road with a name of a stairway, it was really small and breathtaking (in every meaning of the word...). But it is worth a visit because of the panorama during the whole journey.
The second one is the Valley Restonica and the Lake Melo, where we made a tour to the lake and back. You can find here also interesting shapes, see the one with a form of an old man's face! The narrow road to the valley was really exciting too. I hope you like the pictures!

I had the pleasure to see the sunrise by the sea with amazing colors from the orange to the purple shades. The sun didn't come up early because of the clouds but the sky was painted beautifully. I hope you like this color mix.

In Corsica you can find some really interesting, old and beautiful towns in the mountains and on the seaside. In this post I collected my favourite pictures about them. Bonifaccio was the most amazing with its picturesque location, but the view to the castle of Corte was breathtaking too. In Calvi I felt just like in a holiday beach, Porto Vecchio seems to be an old trading town with pretty shops and Sartene is located in the nice hilly Corsican landscape. I hope you like the diversity of this island.
