The French locations in the movie A good year were filmed in Gordes and Bonnieaux , both beautiful historical, hill villages in Provence. The Hungarian translation of this movie shows the atmosphere better: Wine, Delight, Provence. The landscape, the hills with the old town, the small streets and smells were so Provençal, I loved it.

The most interesting about les Calanques that you are next to Marseille, so you have always breathtaking view to the city, to the Mediterrean Sea and to the white limestone rocks. I have never seen such a complex panorama as this was. On our second day we visited the west part of Calanaque: Massif de Marselleveyre. At the end of the trip we had a look at a pretty fishing village in the quartier Les Quodes and the island Île Maïre too. I hope you like the photos.
