Amsterdam, the Venice of the north

For Easter holiday we chose to visit Amsterdam, the city of canals, ships, bicycles, seeds and red light districts. There are of course lot of more in this cultural center, but these are the most interesting at first sight. We spent 4 days there, so in the following days I will post about these days.
On the first day we walked in the lovely streets with canals and visited the Rijksmuseum, which I really loved as I admire so much the Dutch Golden age with the paintings of Rembrandt and Vermeer. Besides we saw the China town, the Damrak, the Nieuwmarkt. I hope you like the first post from Amsterdam!
