Visiting Switzerland in Stein am Rhein

Last Sunday we had an amazing day at the German-Swiss border. First we visited Stein am Rhein, the old Swiss town. It was an important strategic point, where major roads and the Rhine intersected. The main attractions are the castle above the town and the lovely main square with many painted houses. It has a beautiful panorama from the river side and from the castle too. After the visit we went by ship to the Lake Constance, what I will post soon.
